It’s Management Monday! Here’s what’s happening this week and maybe a bit beyond. There are some big changes being announced today so please read all the way through.

Club Order Bonus

Open Day Sessions

I am open today for Open Day sessions.

Next week is a holiday so I will be closed.

And starting in June I will no longer be open on Mondays for Open Sessions. Instead I will be open the last Saturday of the month from 10-3.

Craft Class

So besides no longer holding sessions on Mondays, Craft Class is now online only. * This Class will center around one collection, suite, or bundle. That way, you can see what variety of projects you can create using the same set. There will usually be at least one card but I also want to help you create 3D projects, organizers, tags, pockets, albums, and more. Papercrafting has so much more to offer than the two dimensions that cards give us.

This Class will run from the 16th of each month through the 15th of the following month. So if the sign up period starts in June but finishes in July then it will be called July’s Craft Class. This is because you will be receiving it through the mail in July.

By the last business day of the month you will need to purchase the stamp set with the proper host code to qualify for the Class to be FREE (just pay $7 for S&H). For my Team Members you will need to email me an order number with the product dollar amount of the order and date to qualify.

Cost for the class is $15 for Crafters without the purchase of the stamp set and $10 for Team Members.

The video, photos, and written directions with no materials will be available for $5 per Crafter. Team Members get this for FREE.

On the 10th of each month I will invoice you for the chosen method of taking the class. The invoice must be paid by the 15th.

Classes will ship the week of the 16th.

Please note that if any of the dates fall on a Sunday or holiday they will be on the next business day.

*If you prefer an in-person option you can attend the Open Session every last Saturday of the month any time from 10-3. Drinks will be provided but please bring your own snacks if needed. Stay the entire time or just for a minute.

Punch or Bonus Cards

This also means that the Punch Cards for a FREE class are no longer available since there will be no specific in-person classes.

Changes to Events for More Time for Hosts

I will also not be holding Game Days, Pay It Forward Events, or Product Classes in person. I have done this so I have more open time (especially on Saturdays) for you to host. You get to pick exactly what you want: your location, your food, your projects, and your free products.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the rest of the week.

We do spring cleaning for our homes, our cars, and even our craft supplies. But do we do any cleaning when it comes to our mental health?

I found this simple screenshot and thought there were some simple but good points.

I especially liked the unfollow one. I don’t how many times I am upset over something I have read and hubby asks me simply “why did you continue to read it”. Sometimes we forget that we have the power to unplug, unfollow, or simply ignore what irritates us.

I also like the one about prioritizing my sleep. The exercise one, while it is probably my least favorite, I know it is necessary.

And deconstructing my limiting beliefs. Wow. When I started asking myself why I believe things the way I do I was amazed at how much was passed down. Much of my foundation had never been questioned. So now I am digging into the why. Why do I believe what I do and not just assume.

I hope this helps you to maybe do some needed spring cleaning.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.

No, I have not gone mad. Yes, I am going to relate mosquitos to giving back. Ready. Watch. Let’s go.

I have heard many excuses in 15 years of being a demonstrator and so many more since I have been working in retail since I was 16. (We’ll just say many more years than 15.)

It’s just one card. Why does saying thank you matter? You get the idea right?

To illustrate this point further I want you to imagine for me that you have just laid down for the night in your bed. The fan has a dull roar to it. Every so often you will hear a cricket. And then…you hear that unmistakable buzz. That high-pitched whine. The blood sucker is out looking for a good deal. You turn the light on and try to find that darn bug. It evades you so off goes the light. And as soon as it does that whining sound begins again. You play this game a few more times. And usually how it ends for me is with a welt.

I want to remind you that sometimes the tiniest of things or gestures can make a huge difference. I was reminded of this when I saw this quote.

• Coordinating Mat Color

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended! Did you know our clear blocks can be toys as well as tools?

Recently one of my fellow demonstrators was holding a training. One of the attendees brought their infant daughter. The daughter was entertained by our clear blocks.

Don’t limit your crafting supplies to just the craft room.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.

Lately I have found so many articles on how to reset your mental health. I firmly believe that the year plus of lockdowns has left many feeling disconnected from life itself. This article was different in the sense that it broke down not only how to reset but also how to listen to how your body is doing. Here are some of my favorite points.

• Find your calm. Take some time to be alone.
• Notice how you are feeling.
• Journal.
• Take a technology detox.
• Move your body.

There are several others to read about, but those were the big ones for me. Now I am getting off of here for less time on technology.
