It’s Technique Tuesday! Have you ever made a mess? I know I have. Now the trick is knowing how to clean it up.
The Stampin’ Blends are popular in the coloring world. When you first get them or if you haven’t used them in a while they will often “splash” a bit of ink or alcohol on to whatever surface you are over. If you are over your wood dining room table here is how to clean up those beloved splatters.
Grab a soft rag and a bit of hand sanitizer and rub gently. The hand sanitizer will take out those beloved spots and leave you with just your wood. Make sure to polish afterwards as the wood will be stripped in that spot.
This is the post you have been waiting for. This is the In Color Challenge!
In your catalog packet you have 5 mat sized pieces of card stock in 5 colors. These are the new In Colors…Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, and Fresh Freesia. I am challenging you to create with these 5 pieces of card stock.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to focus on rest to recharge for the week.
I know as soon as I say rest many of you think of a nap. But that is not all there is to rest. Sometimes rest is doing something different to break out of the routine so you feel refreshed.
Well, lately I have been back to the gym (since it is open again) and I have felt incredibly sore. Since it had been a year that the gym had been closed I don’t feel too bad. I kept up on running but not on the weight and lifting part. My point is this. When you feel sore sometimes you need to just become best friends with the couch. Other times you need to move differently to engage your muscles.
And some of you are saying but I don’t work out. What does this have to do with my life? Why are we talking about working out when this is a blog about crafting?
My point is this, every once in a while do something to stretch yourself. Do something to keep moving. Complete a crossword puzzle. Play a game with the kids. Basically, take a break from the routine so you can feel refreshed. And, as far as crafting, if you feel stuck in a rut you won’t feel very creative.
I hope this finds you well. Share with me how you break out of your routine to keep things fresh and moving.
The Last-Chance Products Sale is well underway! All items are while supplies last! If you haven’t taken a look please don’t wait! There are only 9 days left!
It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
I have probably said this before, but I am going to say it again…be smart with your money. Know what your money supports when you purchase from a company. Look at who they give to charitably.
For example, if you buy a Subaru then they donate a percentage to a charity of your choice from the given list. There is a sock company that every time you purchase a pair of socks they will donate a pair for a homeless person. I don’t know about you but I don’t go and get a Subaru every day so let’s be a little more practical. And let’s look at things you can do on a daily basis.
You can shop on Amazon Smile instead of Amazon. It’s the same as Amazon except 1% of your purchase goes to a charity of your choice. The list is long so make sure you have someone in mind so you can search. Personally my choice is to the RCC Marching Tigers Alumni Association. This helps the marching band at Riverside Community (City) College where Tara currently is.
If you contact Reach Out Morongo Basin they run a SCRIPS program. (I know a few of the churches and school programs do as well.) SCRIPS is a fundraising organization that helps a local group. For example, I can go down to Reach Out (when they are open after covid) and purchase scrip for Staters. The next time I buy groceries I use that card instead of paying cash much like I would use a gift card. A portion of that gift card goes back to Reach Out.
Please reach out to your chosen organization to find out what programs they participate in. There are so many ways nowadays to be philanthropic.

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Do you miss the washi tape? Well, here’s a simple way to make something similar.
Take a piece of tissue paper (white used) and attach to the Adhesive Sheet. Then stamp design to create a small pattern. Cut with the Paper Trimmer to create strips that resemble washi tape. Layer as wanted.
Here is a video our CEO, Sara, did to show you how to create this tape using this technique. Please follow the link, https://fb.watch/4-o5R9Z7kA/, to view the video.
It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to talk to you about how to use a punch to create an entire background. So punch a bunch of shapes and glue to your card stock. It’s okay if a bunch hangs over the edges. Just trim off after with your snips. Afterwards check your snips to make sure they are not sticky.
