It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
I am going to keep this short and sweet today. When a friend asks you to lunch…go. Make time for relationships. Work and cleaning will only get you so far. Now don’t live in a pig pen but don’t expect to be in a museum either. Live with moderation. As for now, I’m going to lunch.
It’s Tutorial Thursday! Today I want to introduce you to something new…the hybrid embossing folder. It’s not a Prius but it does double duty. You see you can use it as an embossing folder on its own or the dies on their own. Or you can use them together…hence the hybrid part.
By using them together you are able to cut a step in your card making. So if you are making a bunch of cards this will save you much needed time.
For this project you will need:
Thick Basic White Card Stock
Early Espresso Card Stock
Bumblebee Card Stock
Basic White Card Stock
Early Espresso Ink Pad
Stampin’ Seal +
Dimensionals
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder (includes dies)
Art in Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set
For complete instructions please go to the video, https://youtu.be/B-GkQa8uYuU. If you comment by Friday you will get the full instructions on this project. If you order $50 or more by Tuesday then you will get the materials to create this card as well.

Save the date for Card Class on Saturday, June 5 and Thursday, June 10.
Please note that the New Catalog Open House has been moved to July 17.
It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest and recharge so the week goes more smoothly.
So I did something that I normally don’t do. I cleaned up quickly. Yesterday I had an event and instead of leaving a mess to be done this afternoon or even tomorrow I cleaned up. So when I woke up this morning and walked through the house knowing that everything was done it was such a relief. I know that can’t always be the case, but it was so nice to know that everything was in order.
If you are finding yourself not in the most peaceful of places here are some tips to help you get there.
Lie in bed for a few moments to collect your thoughts for the day before getting up.
Eat breakfast slowly at a table instead of grabbing something to go.
Listen to your favorite music.
Do only one thing at a time.
Writing a thoughtful, hand-written note to someone.
Turn off your cell phone, if only for a few minutes.
While there is not much on sale there are a couple of bonuses.
There is a host bonus for May! If you order or buy $250 or more in product you get the normal 10% of host rewards and a $25 bonus! Please let me know ASAP as my weekends are already full and I am now booking during the week!
And, if that’s not enough, when you choose to get a discount you also get an additional $25 FREE in your Starter Kit and FREE shipping. Ask me more about this!
It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.
Do you know how much can be accomplished by just sitting and listening? Yesterday I was at a friend’s home with a couple of others. We sat around the dining room table and started talking. This one needed her kid’s bike tire fixed, this one couldn’t figure out why a fight always started after a certain question was asked, and so many more. Do you know that most everything someone had already gone through and could help with where to go, ideas of what to say differently, and so much more?
Don’t discount your friends. Don’t think for a moment that there is not value in that cup of coffee around a table with some great minds. So much gets solved in so little of a time with help.
It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!
Today we are talking about erasers. No…not art, gum, or even pencil erasers. But, instead, chalkboard erasers. A chalkboard eraser can help you to smooth out images on the Stamparatus easily. Have you used the Stamparatus and felt like you couldn’t get enough leverage with your hand or fingers to get a consistent image? So pull out the chalkboard eraser. Now make sure it’s clean so the chalk doesn’t scratch your plates. After inking your stamp and swinging that hinged plate then use the eraser to evenly distribute some pressure. Not only will your image thank you by being crisp and clear, but your hands will too.
