Stamparatus to the rescue!

It’s Technique Tuesday! Well, autumn is almost here. While the weather supposedly cools down so do the colors. They become much deeper and warmer in tone. And the darker the color the less room for error. If the image isn’t stamped well you can see it easily.

So then what’s the answer? There are a few.

First, make sure your ink pads are properly inked.

Second, have a Pierce Mat to give some extra cushion to get a crisper image.

And third, but not last in priority, is to use the Stamparatus. Then if it is not dark enough you can ink your stamp again and stamp that image in the exact same spot. I believe my record is five times of stamping the same thing. It was a bat last year that I wanted so black and I got it. 🙂

I hope any of these three tips helps you as our colors being to darken.

Happy Crafting!

With inky fingers,

Joni 🙂
