It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.
I know many of you have kids that have gone back to school recently. And some of you are teachers that are getting back into the routine. I know it’s been tough on both the kids, parents, and teachers.
So I want to share this story with you. When I was a kid my Mom and I didn’t always see eye to eye. Sometimes things got rather tense. Thankfully we lived across the street from a school. The playground faced us and I could often be found there. But when things would get less than comfortable I had a certain place that I would go.
There were no bikes to ride or tractor tires to hide in. Instead I climbed on top of the monkey bars and then laid down to look up at the sky. The clouds entertained me until it started to get dark. I knew up there no one would come up on me and surprise me. No dogs would find me and possibly bite. I could simply let the world go and breathe.

When you are having a tough week where do you go to regroup?
Happy Crafting!
With inky fingers,
Joni 🙂

Best place for me is my studio – my crafting place. I don’t see anything needing my attention any place else and I can stay there as long as I like. I can just play, I can seriously work on projects or I can straighten or organize. My circus! My monkeys!
