It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to remind you to clean up after you emboss.
For this card I took a Versamark Pad to the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I then placed the Basic White Card Stock on the folder and ran it like normal through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Quickly I dumped an entire bottle of Gold Embossing Powder on top of the paper. I then shook off the excess and got to heating with the Heat Tool.
After I heated it thoroughly I gave it a second to cool down. Then I took my Blending Brush and began to add Starry Sky Ink to it. The result was gorgeous and almost looked like it was coming off the page. And here is probably the most important part, I wiped the excess ink off with a paper towel so that gold really showed through.

Make sure when emboss resisting you clean up after each step. First, cap your ink pad so the embossing powder doesn’t get in it. Second, put your embossing powder back in the bottle. And third, make sure to wipe off that excess ink.
When you create with this technique please post your project on my page, https://facebook.com/StampingWithJoni.
Happy Crafting!
With inky fingers,
Joni 🙂
