It’s Technique Tuesday! Today I want to give you some tips for stamping on fabric.
This month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit has a mini canvas tote bag that started as a plain piece of fabric. But you can stamp on it…hint, hint.
When stamping on fabric here are some tips:
- When inking your stamp…if there is any ink on the edges clean it. Anything other than the image of the stamp will be visible as well.
- Hold the fabric taught to get a crisper image.
- Place a piece of paper, chipboard, plastic, just something so the ink doesn’t bleed through to the other side.
- If you are intending to wash the item then go get fabric ink pads at your local craft store.
So here is this infamous little tote bag…

When you use this technique please post a photo of your finished project on my page, https://facebook.com/StampingWithJoni.
Happy Crafting!
With inky fingers,
Joni 🙂
