Welcoming Window Bundle

It’s Tutorial Thursday! I want to share one of the lucky thirteen bundles that is on sale through the end of the month. This bundle is called the Welcoming Window Bundle. I’ve had a few people ask me to do some projects with this set so here we go. But I do need to mention…all the card bases are from thick card stock.

For this card you will need a Thick Basic White Card Stock piece for the base cut at 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″. On the 8 1/2″ side it is scored at 4 1/4″. The Soft Suede Card Stock is 5 1/4″ X 4″. The inner mat is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and is cut to 5″ X 3 3/4″. I then took a piece of scrap Basic White Card Stock to cut out the shelves, pots, and flowers. Make sure the flowers match the leaves when stamping as they are two step stamps. And don’t forget the sentiment that is stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink.

The second card is fairly simple and similar in measurements to the first one. But look at that detail with the lace curtain taken from the 3/8″ Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim. My tip for the curtains is to only use one Mini Glue Dot instead of two when layering the pleats.

And last but not least, the brick background card. Notice when stamping the bricks that the image is perfectly imperfect to resemble real life. I love how the ink grabs on to the stamps to create a true to life image. I also took a Sponge Dauber and dipped it into Soft Suede Ink to create a more wooden look for the window sash.
