Bling for Shoe Repair

It’s Wacky Wednesday where a product is used in a way it is not intended!

I never thought I would say this but I used my bling for shoe repair. Here’s how this story goes…

I recently bought a pair of clogs at the local clothing store. I love just about any kind of shoe that can slip on and off. And if you know me then you know I am up and down all day. With each up and down usually comes a chance to misjudge a table leg or chair leg. So my shoes, specifically my toes, get pretty scuffed up.

Well, about a week or so ago I realized that one of my rivets was missing on my shoe. Since I am a detail person that drove me crazy. So I had to figure it out. This led me to go “hunting” in the studio to see how to fix this. Well, I rummaged through my bling box and found a set of the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots. They were close enough to fix the blinding hole.

What have you fixed from your crafty products?

Happy Crafting!
