Resting still has a beat.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.

Do you know what a resting heart rate is? A resting heart rate is when you have not done anything yet and you count how many heartbeats you have in a minute. Most resting rates are from 60-100 beats per minute. Some are a little higher, some a little lower.

My point is this…even when you are not doing anything your heart is still beating. It’s a little slower but still staying in rhythm. So when you don’t feel like doing anything but resting, remember that still a little bit of motion is needed to live.

Do something out of your ordinary. Take a small walk. Stretch. Move just a bit. Your body will thank you for moving, but slowly.
