Breaking out of your routine.

It’s Sabbath Sunday! This is the day to rest so you can be recharged for the week.

Recently I was looking at what I could do to not feel stuck in a rut. There were two things that came up over and over again. First, was to rest as sleep deprivation often causes anxiety and restlessness. Second, was to try something new and break out of your routine.

So after taking a nap do something new. Try a new food. Go for a walk. Look at the stars.

I was reading about Eleanor Roosevelt and her biography was amazing. Not only did she encourage her husband, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, to stay in office after being sick which paralyzed him but she did much on her own. She was very active in politics and often stood in for FDR. She was known to be outspoken which was not a common or accepted practice for a lady in those times. If you want to read more about Eleanor please go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleanor_Roosevelt. She is one interesting lady.
