It’s almost time for “tis the season”.

It’s Friendship Friday! This is the day to focus on giving back or paying it forward.

Pretty soon the weather will start to cool down and we will start hearing the familiar holiday pleas. For me, the all too familiar rings are from the American Cancer Society, Sheriff’s Department, and so many more. So how do you teach the next generation to give back?

Here are some places your kid and you can give back to the community you live in.

• Heart for Heart Girls

There are also places locally to donate your time and goods such as a food bank, senior center, and more.
